Description
She stood with her back to me, half-lost in a sea of roses. The garden, flushed with pinks and deep reds, bent toward her gently, as if the flowers themselves longed for her touch. Petals brushed her fingertips while her hands moved slowly, lovingly—tending, teasing, smoothing the blooms with quiet reverence.
Her hair caught the breeze, tousled and laced with roses—small, soft blossoms tucked like secrets between strands of gold. The sun played on her shoulders, on the curve of her spine where the linen dress clung loosely and threatened to drift downward with each motion, graceful and unbothered. She was entirely present, undistracted by the fabric’s whisper or the unseen gaze behind her.
She knelt to lift a fading bud, coaxing its bloom with the gentleness of someone who understood fragility. The silence between us was golden—filled only with bees humming, leaves rustling, and the soft sigh of petals opening beneath her care.
It felt, as I watched, like something sacred. She was not posing, not pretending—but living, entirely, among her roses. A gardener, a muse, a fleeting summer vision stitched in grace and innocence.
