Description
Beyond the dunes, a slow procession of camels moved like sand-born shadows, threading the horizon in silence. Dust shimmered in the sun’s low arc, and the desert breathed its vast solitude.
Closer—yet still wrapped in mystery—stood two figures. The woman in white faced westward, her robes rippling like moonlight on stone. The man in black stood opposite her, his silhouette carved from evening. Their eyes met beneath the folds of cloth—eyes that spoke in ways no words could reach.
She had traveled days beneath burning skies, her skin kissed by salt and flame. He had followed the winds, tracing their curves through memory, arriving as if summoned. They had met in caravans before, always fleeting—always a glance too brief to become a goodbye.
Today, neither moved. Between them, time folded. The desert hushed.
His eyes held storms calmed only by her gaze; hers held stories she’d never told, safe behind veils and silence. They didn’t touch—touch would have broken the spell. But each stood within the other’s world, whole, still.
Behind them, camels marched—indifferent, eternal. But in that pocket of dusk, within sand and softness, there was a love unspoken, unbroken, wrapped in white and black, seen only through eyes, and forever stitched into the golden quiet.
